Helping Hands of Goose Creek

Helping Hands of Goose Creek  opened a food pantry in 1989 to distribute emergency food to families in crisis situations. Helping Hands volunteers and its client friendly center has been in continuous operation since its inception.

Helping Hands services include a client’s choice food selection and client hands-on budget training program.  Sun Trust Bank conducts budget training, GED preparation and also provides computer training courses to help our clients enhance their employment opportunities. Food distribution by our friendly volunteers remains the primary focus of Helping Hands.
